Abstract

Latar Belakang: Kewirausahaan perempuan berbasis sumber daya alam di pedesaan Global South masih kurang diteliti. Tujuan: Penelitian ini mengkaji strategi penghidupan berkelanjutan wirausahawan perempuan sayur-mayur di Distrik Pisugi, Kabupaten Jayawijaya, Papua Pegunungan, Indonesia, melalui pemanfaatan sumber daya alam, modal sosial, dan pengetahuan ekologi lokal. Metode: Studi kasus kualitatif berbasis interpretivisme dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan 15 petani perempuan (usia 25–52 tahun) dan empat informan kunci, dianalisis menggunakan analisis tematik refleksif. Hasil: Empat dimensi strategis teridentifikasi: (1) nilai komunal gotong royong dan barter sebagai pengganti pasar faktor formal; (2) jaringan modal sosial bonding untuk berbagi informasi dan akumulasi modal; (3) strategi adaptasi iklim berbasis pengetahuan adat; dan (4) pengelolaan lahan berbasis gender yang menjaga keanekaragaman agroekologi. Partisipasi kooperatif meningkatkan produktivitas 20% dan pendapatan 15%. Kesimpulan: Petani perempuan adat berfungsi sebagai penjaga de facto keanekaragaman agroekologi. Implikasi kebijakan mencakup reformasi kelembagaan responsif gender, penguatan kapasitas, dan integrasi pengetahuan ekologi tradisional dalam rencana adaptasi iklim regional.
