Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh parental support terhadap career adaptability dengan career decision self-efficacy sebagai variabel mediasi pada Generasi Z di Kota Padang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh langsung, signifikan, dan positif antara parental support terhadap career adaptability dan career decision self-efficacy. Selain itu, career decision self-efficacy juga berpengaruh langsung dan signifikan terhadap career adaptability. Temuan lainnya menunjukkan adanya pengaruh tidak langsung yang signifikan dari parental support terhadap career adaptability melalui career decision self-efficacy sebagai variabel mediasi. Dengan demikian, dukungan orang tua yang kuat dapat meningkatkan kepercayaan diri Gen Z dalam mengambil keputusan karir, yang pada gilirannya meningkatkan kemampuan mereka dalam beradaptasi dengan dunia kerja.
