Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Faktor-Faktor yang Memengaruhi Mahasiswa Menggunakan Pinjaman Online di Yogyakarta”. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh meningkatnya penggunaan pinjaman online di kalangan mahasiswa yang berpotensi menimbulkan berbagai risiko finansial. Permasalahan penelitian berfokus pada pengaruh literasi keuangan, gaya hidup konsumtif, kemudahan akses teknologi, dan lingkungan sosial terhadap keputusan mahasiswa dalam menggunakan pinjaman online. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan menguji secara empiris pengaruh variabel-variabel tersebut terhadap keterjeratan atau keputusan penggunaan pinjaman online. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 130 mahasiswa yang memenuhi kriteria penelitian. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya hidup konsumtif, kemudahan akses teknologi, dan lingkungan sosial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan penggunaan pinjaman online, sedangkan literasi keuangan tidak berpengaruh signifikan. Penelitian selanjutnya disarankan untuk menambahkan variabel lain yang relevan, memperluas cakupan wilayah penelitian, serta menggunakan pendekatan metodologis yang berbeda agar diperoleh hasil yang lebih komprehensif.
