Determinan Financial Decision-Making Mahasiswa di Yogyakarta: Financial Literacy, Financial Confidence, dan Financial Behavior

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh Financial Literacy, Financial Confidence, dan Financial Behavior terhadap Financial Decision-Making mahasiswa di Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis explanatory research. Data diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada mahasiswa yang sedang menempuh pendidikan di perguruan tinggi wilayah Yogyakarta dengan teknik purposive sampling, sehingga diperoleh 167 responden yang layak dianalisis. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) dengan bantuan SmartPLS, sedangkan pengujian awal instrumen dilakukan melalui pilot test menggunakan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Financial Literacy berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Financial Decision-Making dengan nilai original sample sebesar 0,351, t-statistic sebesar 4,646, dan p-value sebesar 0,000. Financial Confidence tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Financial Decision-Making dengan nilai original sample sebesar 0,003, t-statistic sebesar 0,052, dan p-value sebesar 0,959. Sementara itu, Financial Behavior berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Financial Decision-Making dengan nilai original sample sebesar 0,471, t-statistic sebesar 6,426, dan p-value sebesar 0,000. Nilai R-square sebesar 0,541 menunjukkan bahwa Financial Literacy, Financial Confidence, dan Financial Behavior mampu menjelaskan Financial Decision-Making sebesar 54,1%, sedangkan nilai Q²predict sebesar 0,517 menunjukkan bahwa model memiliki kemampuan prediktif yang baik. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa literasi keuangan dan perilaku keuangan berperan penting dalam membentuk keputusan keuangan mahasiswa, sedangkan kepercayaan diri finansial belum cukup kuat memengaruhi pengambilan keputusan keuangan apabila tidak didukung oleh pengetahuan dan perilaku keuangan yang memadai.
