Persepsi Responden terhadap Pengembangan Sagu Papua sebagai Basis Pemberdayaan Sosial-Ekonomi dan Bioekonomi Berkelanjutan

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis persepsi responden terhadap pengembangan sagu Papua sebagai basis pemberdayaan sosial-ekonomi dan bioekonomi berkelanjutan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan survei daring terhadap 32 responden yang berdomisili di Kota Jayapura dan berasal dari kelompok mahasiswa/akademisi, konsumen produk sagu, tokoh masyarakat/adat, petani/pengolah sagu, pedagang, serta pelaku UMKM berbasis sagu. Instrumen memuat 22 pernyataan skala Likert lima tingkat yang dikelompokkan ke dalam empat dimensi: nilai pangan, sosial, dan budaya; pemberdayaan masyarakat lokal; pemanfaatan limbah sagu; serta bioekonomi, ketahanan pangan, dan keberlanjutan. Analisis mencakup frekuensi, persentase, rata-rata, tingkat capaian responden (TCR), distribusi jawaban Likert, dan klasifikasi tematik jawaban terbuka. Hasil menunjukkan seluruh dimensi berada pada kategori sangat tinggi. Pemberdayaan masyarakat lokal memperoleh TCR 96,2%, bioekonomi, ketahanan pangan, dan keberlanjutan 96,0%, pemanfaatan limbah sagu 94,8%, serta nilai pangan, sosial, dan budaya sagu 93,6%. Skor item berkisar 4,56–4,88; pelestarian hutan sagu memperoleh skor tertinggi (4,88), sedangkan ketahanan pangan serta pengemasan dan pemasaran produk masing-masing memperoleh 4,84. Jawaban terbuka menempatkan pakan ternak/ikan sebagai pemanfaatan limbah yang paling sering disebut, sementara pemasaran-promosi serta pelatihan-sosialisasi muncul sebagai kendala utama. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa agenda pengembangan sagu yang dipersepsikan prioritas oleh responden tidak cukup berfokus pada produksi, tetapi perlu mengintegrasikan pelibatan masyarakat, inovasi produk, valorisasi limbah, penguatan rantai nilai dan pasar, serta konservasi hutan sagu. Karena ukuran sampel kecil dan tidak dirancang untuk generalisasi probabilistik, hasil diposisikan sebagai pemetaan eksploratif bagi perumusan strategi pengembangan sagu di tingkat lokal.
