Abstract

Industri fashion global menghadapi tantangan keberlanjutan yang signifikan dengan menghasilkan lebih dari 92 juta ton limbah tekstil setiap tahunnya. Fashion upcycling telah muncul sebagai strategi berkelanjutan yang menjanjikan dalam industri kreatif untuk mengatasi masalah lingkungan dan sosial yang ditimbulkan oleh model produksi linear. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan lanskap riset global tentang fashion upcycling melalui pendekatan bibliometrik menggunakan VOSviewer. Data dikumpulkan dari database Scopus dengan rentang waktu 2016-2025, menggunakan kata kunci “upcycl*” OR “up-cycl*” AND “creative industry” OR “fashion” OR “fashion industry” OR “textile”. Analisis meliputi co-authorship, keyword co-occurrence, dan co-citation untuk mengidentifikasi aktor utama, tema dominan, kolaborasi riset, dan tren perkembangan. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan publikasi sejak 2019, dengan tema utama berfokus pada textiles, textile industry, recycling, upcycling, sustainability, dan circular economy. Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi gap riset dan memberikan rekomendasi untuk pengembangan riset fashion berkelanjutan di masa depan, berkontribusi pada pengembangan strategi circular economy dalam industri kreatif.
