Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis transformasi budaya risiko dari pendekatan formalistik menuju substantif pada proses underwriting asuransi umum di BRI Insurance melalui penerapan prinsip learning organization. Budaya risiko formalistik yang berorientasi pada kepatuhan prosedural dinilai belum mampu mendukung kualitas pengambilan keputusan underwriting secara optimal. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana pembelajaran berkelanjutan, berbagi pengetahuan, refleksi pengalaman klaim, serta penguatan kepemimpinan dan komunikasi risiko dapat membangun budaya risiko yang lebih substantif. Pendekatan tersebut diharapkan mendorong underwriter untuk tidak hanya memenuhi persyaratan administrasi, tetapi juga memahami profil risiko secara komprehensif dan melakukan penilaian risiko yang lebih berkualitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan learning organization berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan kesadaran risiko, kualitas underwriting, efektivitas pengendalian risiko, serta keberlanjutan kinerja perusahaan.
