The International Journal of Economics Development Research (IJEDR) is committed to promoting transparency, reproducibility, and responsible research practices by encouraging authors to make the data, statistical analyses, survey instruments, questionnaires, interview protocols, analytical models, software, codes, and other research materials supporting the findings of their manuscripts available upon reasonable request. Authors are expected to ensure that the data underlying the results presented in their articles are accessible whenever possible and appropriate while fully respecting ethical standards, privacy regulations, confidentiality agreements, intellectual property rights, and applicable legal requirements. Data should only be shared when doing so does not compromise the confidentiality of research participants, sensitive economic or organizational information, proprietary business data, or other legitimate ethical, legal, or security considerations.
During manuscript submission, authors will be asked whether their study is supported by one or more datasets or supplementary research materials. Where applicable, authors are encouraged to provide a persistent identifier such as a DOI, institutional repository link, Zenodo, Figshare, Harvard Dataverse, Open Science Framework (OSF) repository, or another trusted long-term repository that enables access to the supporting data. Every manuscript should include a Data Availability Statement indicating where the supporting data can be accessed or explaining any justified restrictions on data availability. Authors are solely responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, integrity, documentation, and long-term accessibility of their research data and supplementary materials. Although links to datasets and repositories may accompany published articles, these materials are not formally peer reviewed as part of the journal's editorial evaluation process. Responsibility for the quality, validity, preservation, and maintenance of all deposited datasets and supplementary materials remains entirely with the authors.
