Electronic Filing

Electronic Filing

The International Journal of Economics Development Research (IJEDR) implements an electronic manuscript submission and management system to ensure efficiency, transparency, accessibility, and accountability throughout the scholarly publication process.

All manuscripts must be submitted electronically through the journal's official Online Journal System (OJS). The electronic filing system facilitates manuscript submission, editorial screening, peer review, revision, acceptance, and publication.

1. Online Manuscript Submission

Authors are required to submit manuscripts through the official IJEDR online submission platform:

Submission Portal: https://journal.yrpipku.com/index.php/ijedr

Authors must register for an account or log in to an existing account before initiating a manuscript submission.

Submissions sent through personal email, messaging applications, or other unofficial communication channels will not be considered formal manuscript submissions unless specifically authorized by the editorial office.

2. Electronic Submission Requirements

Before submitting a manuscript, authors must ensure that:

  1. The manuscript is original, has not been previously published, and is not under consideration by another journal.

  2. The manuscript complies with the journal's aims and scope, author guidelines, and publication ethics policies.

  3. The manuscript is prepared using the official IJEDR manuscript template.

  4. All required manuscript information, including title, abstract, keywords, author names, institutional affiliations, and references, is complete and accurate.

  5. All authors have approved the manuscript and agreed to its submission.

  6. Supplementary materials, datasets, figures, tables, and other supporting documents are uploaded when applicable.

  7. Potential conflicts of interest, funding sources, and ethical considerations are appropriately disclosed.

3. Accepted Electronic File Formats

Manuscripts should be submitted in an editable Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx), unless otherwise specified in the author guidelines.

Tables, figures, and supplementary materials must be provided in appropriate electronic formats that ensure readability, accessibility, and publication quality.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that all uploaded files are complete, accessible, and free from technical errors.

4. Electronic Manuscript Processing

After successful submission, manuscripts are processed electronically through the journal's editorial management system.

The electronic workflow generally includes:

  1. Initial Submission: The corresponding author uploads the manuscript and completes the required submission metadata.

  2. Editorial Screening: The editorial team evaluates the manuscript's scope, formatting, originality, and compliance with journal policies.

  3. Peer Review: Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are assigned to qualified reviewers for scholarly evaluation.

  4. Revision: Authors submit revised manuscripts and responses to reviewer comments through the electronic system.

  5. Editorial Decision: The editorial team communicates the decision through the journal's electronic platform.

  6. Production and Publication: Accepted manuscripts undergo copyediting, layout editing, proofreading, and electronic publication.

All editorial decisions are made based on the journal's established editorial and peer-review policies.

5. Electronic Communication

Official correspondence concerning manuscript submission, peer review, revision, and publication is conducted through the OJS platform and its associated notification system.

The corresponding author is responsible for monitoring the manuscript's status, reviewing editorial notifications, and responding to requests within the specified deadlines.

Authors must ensure that their registered email addresses remain valid and accessible throughout the publication process.

6. Electronic Document Management and Confidentiality

IJEDR is committed to maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of electronically submitted manuscripts and related documents.

Access to unpublished manuscripts, reviewer reports, editorial correspondence, and supporting documents is restricted according to the roles and permissions established within the journal's electronic management system.

Manuscript information and personal data are handled in accordance with the journal's privacy statement and applicable data protection requirements.

7. Revised Manuscript Submission

Authors receiving revision requests must submit their revised manuscripts electronically through the original submission record.

Revised submissions should include:

  • A revised manuscript incorporating the requested changes.

  • A point-by-point response to reviewer and editor comments.

  • Additional supporting documents, where required.

Authors should not create a new submission record for a revised version of an existing manuscript unless instructed by the editorial office.

8. Electronic Publication and Archiving

Accepted articles are published electronically through the official IJEDR website following the completion of the editorial and production processes.

Published articles are made available online in accordance with the journal's open-access and copyright policies.

The journal supports responsible electronic preservation and archiving practices to promote the long-term accessibility and discoverability of published scholarly research.

9. Technical Issues and Submission Assistance

Authors experiencing technical difficulties during electronic submission, file uploading, or manuscript tracking should contact the IJEDR editorial office through the official contact information provided on the journal's website.

Authors are encouraged to retain copies of all submitted manuscripts, supplementary files, and editorial correspondence for their records.

10. Compliance with Electronic Filing Procedures

All authors are expected to comply with the electronic submission and document management procedures established by IJEDR.

The editorial office reserves the right to return incomplete submissions or request corrections to manuscripts that do not comply with the journal's electronic filing requirements.

By submitting a manuscript electronically, authors acknowledge that they have read and agreed to comply with the journal's author guidelines, publication ethics policies, and submission procedures.
